ABOUT 

Learn to race sprint kayaks on the Petaluma River at our one and only introductory clinic for new prospective club members.

Dates: Mon-Sat, June 17-22, 2024

Times:  9am-12pm 

Cost: $425 (18 hrs of instruction)

Limit: 20 campers

Requirements: Must be age 11-15 as of the first day of the camp, and able to swim. No prior kayaking experience is necessary

Due to our summer racing schedule, this camp is the one time during the year for prospective new club members to try out the sport of sprint kayaking and apply to become members of River Town Racers year-round training and racing club.

Successful applicants generally have the following attributes:

• Live in or within easy reach of Petaluma.
• Able to endure sustained physical effort.
• Able to take directions for coaches.
