ABOUT 

Learn to race sprint kayaks on the Petaluma River at our one and only introductory clinic for new prospective club members.

Session 1 Dates: Mon-Fri, June 22-26, 2026 (1-4pm) – $425

Session 2 Dates: Mon-Fri, July 6-10, 2026 (1-4pm) – $425

Session 3 Dates (mini): Mon-Wed, August 10-12, 2026 (9-12pm)  – $270

Limit: 20 campers

Requirements: Must be age 11-17 as of June 20th and able to swim. No prior kayaking experience is necessary

Due to our summer racing schedule, these camps are the one time during the year for prospective new club members to try out the sport of sprint kayaking and apply to become members of River Town Racers year-round training and racing club.

Successful applicants generally have the following attributes:

• Live in or within easy reach of Petaluma.
• Able to endure sustained physical effort.
• Able to take directions from coaches.

*We have limited scholarship funding available. Please apply if you are unable to manage the full cost of camp.
